YOUR HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED

YOUR HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED TO KEEP HIV PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN NEW MEXICO! PLEASE ACT NOW.
The Senate Finance Committee has proposed drastically reducing the New Mexico Department of Health's budget beyond what the Department is already facing due to state budget shortfalls. These cuts will affect New Mexicans in every community of the state and harm the ability to prevent and treat diseases including HIV and hepatitis. The proposed cuts will reduce the budget by $38.5 million from last year's general fund budget.

Please contact your Senate Finance Committee Member and your local senator and representatives and urge them to maintain funding for health services including prevention. To find your legislators go to: legis.state.nm.us/lcs/legislatorsearch.aspx
