Southwest CARE Center is an independent HIV-antibody testing site providing "rapid" HIV testing.

We are also in Taos one day a month to provide free, anonymous rapid HIV testing at Total Health and Wellness Center of Taos www.taospharmacy.com/index.html. With the new rapid testing technology, persons receiving HIV tests can get their results in ten minutes, eliminating the two week waiting period normally required for labs to process HIV tests.
The rapid test is performed by means of a finger stick and is 99.7% accurate. With trained counselors on site, a person testing positive will be able to immediately begin the process of receiving services provided by Southwest CARE Center: medical, case management, therapeutic and practical support.
The test is free of charge and you don't have to give your name.
