Social Work & Prevention

The social work department at Southwest CARE Center strives to provide supportive services to all our clients as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. Each new client is offered the opportunity to meet with and be assigned to a social worker.

The social worker can work closely with the client to improve quality of life by identifying needs and developing plans to meet the daily challenges of living with HIV. The social work department is staffed by master's and bachelor's level social workers along with a Client Services Coordinator, who administers practical support services.
