HIV creates its own community. Loss, struggle and success have fashioned a network of people who take action to make sure that HIV/AIDS is given priority when it comes to funding and awareness. The Special Events that benefit Southwest CARE Center serve the purpose of not only raising funds, but also of keeping HIV and Southwest CARE Center in the public's eye.
Please check back often to see the various events and fundraisers that the Center hosts.
Private donorship and community involvement are necessary for us to continue our good work. If you would like to participate in our fundraising and community events, ask about our Planned Giving program, or make a donation, please contact Stella Reed, Director of Resource Development, sreed@southwestcare.org or call 505 989 9255.

AID & Comfort Gala 2010
The AID & Comfort Gala is Southwest CARE Center's largest annual fundraiser and community event. All proceeds raised go to the AID & Comfort Fund which helps our patients meet their unmet medical expenses such as lab fees, medications and insurance co-pays.
World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is December 1 every year. Please check back in October/November to see what Southwest CARE Center has planned for this very important day of remembrance.
