Our Gender Equity Medicine (GEM) clinic provides respectful and gender affirming care to transgender, non-binary and gender-expansive patients. Southwest Care is a welcoming place for patients over the age of 15 to receive these primary care services in a comfortable supportive setting
Our compassionate providers follow best practice guidelines in transgender medicine that are grounded in standards of care from the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) as well as the University of California at San Francisco Transgender Center for Excellence. Our goal is to provide transgender and non-binary patients with gender-affirming services that reflect evidence-based care with an individualized approach to meet each patient’s personal goals and needs.
