Founded in 1996, Southwest CARE Center is a recognized model of excellence in the care and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS. Southwest CARE Center provides the same high standard of care in our family practice, internal medicine, specialty care, research, education, prevention, and support services. We proudly serve the culturally diverse communities of Northern New Mexico in a welcoming, relaxed judgment-free setting.
Southwest CARE Center: Family Medicine opened on January 30, 2013 and offers expanded access to essential health care in Santa Fe. It is our goal to serve members of our community from all age groups in an open, accepting, and judgment-free environment.
Southwest CARE Center Specialty Services is located at 649 Harkle Road Suite E, Santa Fe, NM 87505. It is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Tues from 10am –5pm.
Southwest CARE Center specialty services include HIV/AIDS specific treatment and primary care
for our HIV-positive patients regardless of ability to pay. Staff works with
our patients to develop individualized treatment plans to restore, maintain or
enhance patient health.
Hepatitis C Services
Hepatitis C Services include Hepatitis C risk reduction education and rapid testing
regardless of ability to pay. For those infected with Hepatitis C, SCC provides
state-of-the-art-treatment, access to clinical trails and referrals to
specialists as needed.
Specialty Pharmacy Services
Pharmacy services, including consultation with HIV and HCV specialized pharmacists, are
available at our Harkle Road location.
Southwest CARE Center Family Medicine is located at 1691
Galisteo Street, Suite D, Santa Fe, NM 87505. It is open Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday from 8am to 5pm, Tuesday 10 am to 5pm and Thursday 8am to 7pm.
