Your Mental Health and COVID-19
Covid-19 pandemic is an event affecting all of us – we are challenged to maintain a sense of safety while also getting our needs met for social connection. Southwest Care recognizes that these unprecedented times are putting a strain on our mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We each respond differently, but most of us need support to feel ok. Because of this, Southwest Care Center wants you to know that our behavioral health team is here for you: we have professionals working in counseling, psychotherapy, mental health medication management, and mental health assessment available to you. We are also now offering mental health coaching and skill building for clients who feel that they would benefit from talking briefly to a professional about how to cultivate coping skills to help keep centered and sane during this pandemic. Please reach out to your provider at Southwest Care and ask for behavioral health services if you think they might help you.
As you can see, we are taking drastic measures to keep you safe during this time of unease. If you need an appointment, please call us at 505-392-3669. We will get you scheduled so that your health care needs continue to be addressed. If you are having symptoms of COVID19 such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, please call and you will be appropriately triaged by our experienced nurses.
We are here for you, be that in person, on the phone, or visiting over video chat.
You are not alone. We WILL get through this difficult time together!
