HIV Prevention

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis—PrEP

PrEP is a medicine for people at risk for HIV to prevent getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. PrEP involves taking a single tablet daily. It has been shown to reduce the risk of contracting HIV through sexual contact by over 90% and the risk of contracting HIV using injection needles by over 70%.

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis—PEP

The sooner you start PEP, the better–every hour counts. PEP is a 28-day medication  therapy to prevent HIV after a possible exposure.  It is most effective when taken within 72 hours from the exposure to HIV.
Same day appointments are available.
