Who We Serve

It is recommended that everyone gets tested for HIV and hepatitis C at least once in their lifetime by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This is called “Universal Screening,” and we welcome you to receive this service at Southwest Care Center. Some populations are at greater risk for infections than others, including people who use intravenous (IV) drugs, those who are homeless, and youth, among many others. We focus special attention toward communities that are vulnerable and marginalized because of their increased risk for infection. Our outreach program works with many community partners to provide free and confidential rapid HIV and hepatitis C tests to people in a wide variety of settings. If you or your community group would like to discuss working with our education and testing team to bring these services to your location, please contact us. We also offer engaging, sex-positive education and prevention programs for various ages and audiences. Please call 1.855.287.2569 for more information on our educational programs.
