World AIDS Day Celebration & Candlelight Commemoration

WE WELCOME EVERYBODY TO JOIN US

Wednesday, December 1 at 5:30pm

SANTA FE RAILYARD PARK

Each year, on December 1st, people around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. Initially observed in 1988, World AIDS Day became the first ever global health day.

Over three decades later, raising awareness of the risks and impacts of HIV on people’s lives, ending stigma and discrimination,  and improving the quality of life of people living with HIV remain critical initiatives in need of ongoing attention and funding.

Featured speakers include Perry Mackrill, Harkle Pharmacy Manager, representatives from our the Client Advisory Board, and the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance.

Warm cider, cookies, and candles will be provided.
